Awareness Program

The activities of the media have been instrumental in raising awareness of the plight of many children around the world. In conflict zones, political hotspots and natural disasters, children can suffer tremendous hardship, and it is often through the media the world becomes aware of such hardship, and is able to respond.

However, there continues to be many children in difficult circumstances who remain relatively undetected, with their plights never being brought to the awareness of the world. These children are silent, unseen victims, and can be found in virtually every country around the globe. They are the children living in the brothels of India, the orphanages of Romania, the streets of Latin America, the institutions of Europe, the children’s homes of the Caribbean, among many others.

Raising awareness about the plight of such children is the purpose of the Awareness Program. By raising awareness, it is hoped individuals and organisations may be inclined to provide assistance where it is needed. When we become aware of the plight of specific populations of children anywhere in the globe, we seek to obtain accurate information about their situation, and make such information publicly available  in an effort to raise awareness.

Where possible, we also visit children in orphanages, homes and other institutions. You can read about some of the places we have visited as part of our Awareness Program, in the Caribbean and India.

If you are aware of the plight of any children that remain outside of public awareness, but are in need of assistance, please contact us with the relevant details.
