I have been volunteering for the A.R.C. Worldwide Trust since August 2007 and my role is to liaise with other volunteers who have agreed to undertake research reports for the Trust. I have found this role really rewarding as I am able to be in contact with a variety of people who all have a passion for the health and wellbeing of children worldwide. The reports I have read have been to a high standard and certainly given me an exceptional insight into the different life children lead throughout the world. It certainly has highlighted for me the extremes in which some children live, in comparison to the country I live and call home.
I have really enjoyed conversing with volunteers via email and being able to offer assistance and support as required. I have certainly felt supported by A.R.C. Worldwide Trustees, who have been available to assist at all times with any queries I or other volunteers have had. I am looking forward to continuing to work alongside the Trustees and volunteers for this valuable organisation, as we work toward making life better for children around the world.
