The activities of the A.R.C. Worldwide Trust are currently coordinated on an entirely voluntary basis by a number of key staff members.

Volunteers also assist with some aspects of our work.

Trustee

A qualified barrister and solicitor, Dinesh Menon serves as legal counsel for the A.R.C. Worldwide Trust, in addition to coordinating the Trust programs. Dinesh graduated with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia in 1999. With more than 7 years experience as a lawyer, he has served as a public prosecutor for a government agency in Singapore and thereafter has been engaged as a private client lawyer in a number of offshore jurisdictions. He was directly involved in working with the Government of the Cook Islands with regard to de-listing the jurisdiction from the Financial Action Task Force’s Non-Cooperative Countries and Territories “blacklist” between 2004 and 2005. Over the course of his career, he has also been involved with work relating to anti-money laundering and terrorist financing issues. Dinesh has a keen personal interest in the field of human rights law, international criminal law, and legal and social issues connected to armed conflict. In addition to his managing of the A.R.C. Worldwide Trust, Dinesh seeks to volunteer his time, resources and expertise as a trained and qualified lawyer to assist initiatives by NGOs and international humanitarian and human rights organisations, who have need for his skills.

Trustee

As an experienced researcher, Natasha Tassell is responsible for coordinating all research undertaken by the A.R.C. Worldwide Trust, in addition to coordinating the Trust programs. Natasha graduated from Massey University (New Zealand) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and subsequently with a Master of Arts (1st Class Hons) in Psychology. Currently residing in the United Kingdom, Natasha is undertaking studies toward a Doctoral degree, with the focus of the research being to investigate some factors impacting the well-being of health workers in humanitarian, aid and relief settings. Natasha has worked for a number of NGOs and government organisations both in New Zealand and abroad, respectively fulfilling full-time, freelance and volunteer obligations. Working primarily within the areas of health, education and social development, Natasha has researched a variety of populations, the majority of which have included children and women. With several years experience in the not-for-profit and voluntary sectors, Natasha has gained extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects associated with the operation and management of volunteers and not-for-profit organisations. Natasha has also undertaken research and provided academic tutoring in psychology at both the university and secondary school levels.

Manager (Volunteers)

Having a passion for the health and well-being of children and populations in general is what inspired Susan Bolitho to train as a New Zealand Registered Nurse. Having completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 1997, Susan has worked mainly with children and families both in the hospital and community settings. In 2001, Susan began her Masters of Nursing with Massey University in New Zealand, which she completed in 2004 with Honours. Susan focused primarily on the health and well-being of children and undertook research that looked at barriers to health care for Maori families. After completing her Masters qualification, Susan joined a Regional Public Health team in New Zealand and worked as a Public Health Nurse for children in schools, before changing roles and becoming a Manager for the School Health Service team. Susan currently is a full-time parent, and resides in New Zealand with her family. Her work with the A.R.C. Worldwide Trust involves coordinating and managing all volunteers, and voluntary projects.
